My first visit

Dr. Francis will perform a complete oral examination and discuss any treatment you may need. The examination can identify conditions such as tooth decay, periodontal disease, and even oral cancer. Teeth cleaning may be performed during your first visit, or might be scheduled for a follow-up visit depending on the condition of your teeth and gums. Your first appointment will take between 1-½ hours.
Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent. We will ask you "how did you hear about our office?" Dr. Francis sends referral thank you rewards to patients who recommend friends and family to our office.

Here are a few tips make your visit as pleasant and brief as possible:

Please bring a photo identification card to your visit.
With just a few simple forms, we’ll ask for relevant medical history, any medications you might be taking, your dental history.
If you will be filing for insurance benefits, please bring your insurance identification card. Our team will provide a complimentary benefits breakdown for you. Otherwise payment is due when treatment is received.
Your examination will include x-rays of your teeth.
After your examination and review of your x-rays Dr. Francis will consult with you regarding condition of your teeth and a personal treatment plan.
Our Financial Coordinator will review with you your financial options including your benefits breakdown and the doctor's treatment plan.

Dental Designs of Stroud will file any for insurance benefits with any company. The patient is responsible for the difference between the benefit and the fee in some occasions. We will provide a complimentary benefits check for you at your first visit.
